Hi Karen

Many Thanks for our wonderful luxury spa day at Desert Springs. Everyone had an amazing time and they couldn’t believe how fast it went – I think they could have easily stayed for the whole weekend. The treatments were wonderful, the lunch was lovely and the weather was great!!

Hi Ellie,

We are now home in the grey UK, missing Spain already!

Thank you once again for all of your (and Daniel’s) help organising our wedding.

We had a fantastic time. All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed it and thought everything about Desert Springs was fabulous.

Many of them want to go back there on holiday next year.

Thanks again,

Nicola.

I found Karen @ Desert Springs when I was searching for a beautician to provide treatments for my girlfriends and I for my hen day in Spain. We met up before the day to discuss my requirements, and I also found out that she did bridal make too. Karen arranged the whole hen day for us and always went the extra mile to get me exactly what I wanted, and the make up she did was beautiful. I felt so comfortable with telling her what I liked and didn’t, and she did too which I was so grateful for. She also did my bridesmaids nails and make up too, aswell as the 8 or 9 massages that she did all one after the other on my hen day!

The other lovely thing about Karen is that because she is solely involved, she provides a personal yet highly professional service, and I’d definitely recommend her for a relaxing spa/hen day @ Desert Springs or for bridal make up. I will definately be visiting Karen again when I go back to Desert Springs/Terreros. I could never say how grateful I am to Karen for all her help.

Dear Karen and Jim

Just a quick note to say a huge thank you again for the tennis lessons and the massages… The boys had a great time; Warren and I too…
The service again has been second to none and we have had a great time yet again… even though we have been extremely lazy again… But I guess that’s what holidays are all about!

Thanks again

There is nothing more welcome than an oasis in a desert and in several respects Desert Springs Resort and Golf Club is just like an oasis.  For a start the lush fairways and perfect greens of the golf course contrast with the arid countryside all around. But in a country like Spain, where outstanding new developments can be hard to come by, Desert Springs is also an oasis of quality and excellence.

Desert Springs is a holiday resort, golf club, and residential development with plenty of personality. For all the right reasons it is not somewhere you can easily forget, nor confuse with any other new development in Spain. Any development that is unforgettable, and unmistakeable, in a positive sense, will always enjoy advantages over the mass of developments that aren’t. This is especially true from an investment point of view.

You know something is up when you first turn off the main road from Cuevas de Almanzora into Desert Springs. The slightly scruffy, rustic charm of the area gives way to a perfect infrastructure, and an immaculate landscape. Even an untrained eye can see that expensive, quality materials have been used for things like sidewalks and street lighting, and that the landscape is being carefully maintained. Such details are always a good sign, as they reveal a lot about the quality and values of the developer.

One of the reasons why Desert Springs is so unforgettable is because of the resort’s architecture and design. There is a wide choice of properties, but all of them are designed and built by the developer, which ensures a consistent architectural theme throughout the resort. As a result, Desert Springs has an attractive Spanish colonial architecture that suits the landscape perfectly. To compliment this romantic architecture, homes are finished in earthy colours, with rustic materials, and stylish wrought iron work details.

Hi Peter

Our Dream Home at Desert Springs!

Hope you are well and recovered from your long drive to Calais and back! We suffered similar problems having to drive down (26 hours door to door, 4 of us in Gina’s convertible!), but just me and my son Ryan driving back with an overnight in Biarritz, while Gina and my daughter Bex flew home (cheats)!

Now that we have completed on the property and moved in I would like to tell you that we are absolutely ‘over the moon’ with our finished villa.

Your staff (Janet, Julia, Chris and Jim, not forgetting Freddie and Paul) have been a credit to the company and we really do feel that they have gone the ‘extra mile’ to get things right for us and fully satisfy our needs. From deposit to completion I really don’t think it could have gone any smoother, a very professional and competent team!

I would like to point out in particular that Janet Mills (in spite of some health problems last year) has been an absolute star for us. The whole buying experience was made much more pleasurable with her regular photo updates and sometimes daily bulletins which held our attention and laughter throughout! She was always available when we needed her even on days off she would be on hand to answer any urgent queries we may have had.

Many thanks to you, Peter, for your continued help and advice.

We look forward to many happy years ahead being part of the Desert Springs ‘family’.

Kind Regards

Hi Carmen,

It was nice to see you on Saturday.

I just wanted to say what a fantastic weekend we had. As always the service was first class. Even though we had told Gary how good it was, I think it surprised him just how spectacular the whole thing is.

Even when there are new members of staff they still know how to make visitors feel special. Please pass on my thanks to everyone at Desert Springs.
The house you put us in was perfect. I am not sure you could have picked a better location.

I have just e-mailed the others to see what dates they can do in June so hopefully I will be in touch soon to book the next trip.

I am delighted the sun is out so have just rearranged my flight from tomorrow to Thursday. Back to work next week after two months of leisure so I am making the most of it.

Thanks for looking after us.

Kind regards
Eddie

Hi Janet

As you know the signing went well yesterday, following your hand-over, and I eventually managed to get into my pool at 4.30pm witnessed by Barry and Pauline Carver and Peter Goodhall, absolutely freezing!

We eventually got home to the UK at 2am after a very eventful day.

Once again, many, many thanks to you especially for all your hard work in making our buying experience such an exciting and memorable event.  We really will miss your weekly bulletins and photo updates which have kept us on the edges of our seats for the past 7 months or so!

I will be writing to PG in the next few days.

See you in a couple of week’s time when we move in.

Kind Regards,

Ashley and Gina

Hi Carmen,

Many thanks to everyone for a wonderful week in Desert Springs. We have been going as a group for 11 years now and it was agreed that this year’s trip has been one of the best.

Even the weather was on our side. When we arrived in Glasgow on Monday it was snowing and 3 degrees. Quite a change.

Many thanks again

Dear Marimar & all at Desert Springs,

Just a quick email to say thank you for all the help & assistance you gave to our golf party when we visited the resort, for the first time, last weekend.

The Apartment & Golf course were truly immaculate & also the staff were so helpful. Due to delays we didn’t arrive until 10pm on Friday night, but the Crocodile Club bar still provided us with a meal.

We will definitely be booking again, maybe later this year or next year.

Hi Tania,

I just wanted to drop you a line to say a huge thank-you for our holiday in Desert Springs. How lovely it was to enjoy some warm winter sunshine – and what a shock to return to the cold back in the UK!

Desert Springs Resort was a welcome retreat and we both felt that the resort has been very well planned and laid out – the landscaping is first class and Joel’s cacti were amazing. What an interesting man he is, you are certainly very lucky to have such an expert to hand. We both enjoyed meeting him and now look forward to reading some of Joel’s books. Could you please pass on our thanks to Elvira, Carmen, Karen and Paul, as well as to the staff at both The Lodge and the Crocodile Club, who all made us feel very welcome.

As well as relaxing at Desert Springs we also enjoyed exploring the local area and the wider area, with the dramatic backdrop of the Sierra de los Filabres and Sierra Nevada mountains further afield. I’m so pleased that we managed to get in the trip to the Alhambra, having studied its influence on the development of English gardens on my university course last year.

We will certainly be recommending Desert Springs to our friends and family and hope to return some time in the future.

Thanks again, with warmest wishes,

Heather & Steve Martin

Hi Carmen/Alfonso,

I just wanted to thank you both for your help and organization for our short stay last weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Desert Springs as always.  It was nice that the others in our group, who have not been before had a great time and liked the Golf course and Resort!  So much that they will be booking a return trip soon.

I would like to mention certain members of staff, who made us feel very welcome and made the extra effort to make our trip more special. They are Nick and Tom from the Caddy masters facilityThey really were excellent and epitomized everything Desert Springs is about.

This was my 12th visit to Desert Springs and I was concerned that in the current climate standards may have inevitably slipped. This was definitely NOT the case. Although, the number of staff did not seem as high this was not noticed in the level of service.

Once again thank you for a good trip. Please pass on our gratitude to Nick and Tom especially.
