“Fantastic holiday, golf & lovely staff”
Me and my family have been coming back to Desert Springs for 4 years now and always have a fabulous relaxing time.
The staff are brilliant always welcoming and attentive and friendly especially the El Torrente restaurant manageress Ellie and her team and the golf reception guys.
The golf and accommodation were both fantastic, this time we stayed at 9 Powderhorn which is a lovely house well equip with everything you could possibly need, immaculately decorated and well furnished with a good sized pool, nice garden and fab views of the golf course.
Enjoyed the spa facilities and had a lovely couple of massage treatments.
Restaurant food was also great for breakfast and dinner and it was Great to see the crocodile club open at weekends during term time! Enjoyed cocktails at the pool bar, great service and a nice holiday atmosphere.
Have booked to return later this year can’t wait.

“Relax and Chill”
We have been coming to Desert Springs for almost 10 years, and for us it’s one of those places you just must come back too, to relax and chill.
We are lucky that it is Sandy Lane Barbados for us in Sept / Oct and Desert Springs in May / June.
Just had 7 days at 24 Desert Drive, pool, 3 beds, en suite and family bathroom and it overlooks the 17th Tee Box.
Quiet, read a book, listen to some music and drank some wine. It is also a short walk to Clubhouse.
Well this year I have to admit the food in the Clubhouse was the best it has ever been.
Only intended to eat once or twice in the week and ended up eating every night. Chefs 3 course with coffee menu at 18 euro pp was superb and VFM.
The chefs menu is changed every couple of nights, but if you don’t fancy that, you can eat off the deck menu served all day.
Stuffed Aubergine with mushrooms and gratin cheese was a winner for Mrs H. The hot soups were excellent, broccoli and blue cheese one night and courgette and cheese the next night were as good as you would get in a top class restaurant .Swordfish, red fish, sea bass, Caesar salad along with cheese and biscuits, all were to our satisfaction.
Do a deal to include golf, buggies and breakfast. We did.
2 Fresh oranges, 2 coffees, 2 bacon banquettes every morning just what the doctor ordered!
We had 10 rounds of golf in our 7 day package only used 4, as we wanted to read a book, swim, drink and just RELAX.
Well done Desert Springs.
Just invest in what you have, make it better, it is really worth keeping in quality order.
Golf course was in very good condition, best in the area. Played the Marina in Mojacar, nice but not in the same league as Desert Springs.
The staff from Simon Coaker the Golf Director, to Ellie and her staff in the restaurant, all work hard to makes your stay pleasurable. Thanks.
Desert Springs is not the place to come if you want Bars, Nightlife, etc.
Desert Springs is the place to come if you want to Relax and Chill, play golf, sunbath, play tennis and just recharge.
We have been with our grandchildren and it does have children’s facilities at the croc club, but check when it is open.
The summer training camp to the England 2015 Ashes Cricket team, say no more.
Well done Desert Springs.
We shall return.
Top marks.

Feel terrible as fear that I have not thanked you & The Team for their kindness and generosity at Desert Springs!!
It was a super stay and though I could not consume quite as much wine as the gang I did think that I have not enjoyed so much sensational food for years!!
Great see you both and hope it’s not so long before we all meet up again at The Resort!!
Huge thank you.

Hi Team,
The rain showers in Spain did not bother us one bit.
We all had a lovely time, some great golf (not by me!).
The Villa was great and being close to the club house suited us fine.
Some lovely meals at El Torrente and the odd drink, a good time had by all.
On behalf of everyone thank you for your hospitality, everything was very much appreciated.
We had an easy trip back and arrived on time at Gatwick.
We look forward to our next Golfing Break at Desert Springs.
Henley Smith and friends.

Chris Marshall of England Cricket, first visited Desert Springs Resort as part of the staff that accompanied the England Cricket Squad for their successful 4-day pre-series bonding and training camp last June in the build up to the Ashes.
He enjoyed the resort so much that he returned recently with his wife to enjoy a 5-day break!
Chris commented;
‘From my perspective, whether it is a short break away with family or a warm weather training camp for your cricket team, Desert Springs has all bases covered.
The golf, food, spa, cricket, and meeting facilities, are all first class and the staff could not do more for you.
The short journey to Mojacar shouldn’t be missed if time permits… however I wouldn’t blame you if you stayed solely at the resort!
Many thanks for the hospitality, I am sure that you will be seeing us… and our new arrival… very soon !’
Thanks again,
Chris Marshall

A mate bid for a 4-day break here at a charity auction which we shared with him – and we weren't disappointed!
Very friendly staff both local and English, great facilities, mix of easy through to challenging holes and with the adoption of suitable 'local' rules to overcome the interesting mix of grass and sand/gravel off-fairways we had a great time.
Short drive/taxi to the coast for restaurants and nightlife, all in all – we had a blast!

We arrived Desert Springs at night after a drive from Alicante airport and with the help of Google Maps and the resort signage we were able to find the resort without difficulty.
We played golf several times and the course was great and in excellent condition.
The staff at the caddy masters were very helpful and went above and beyond each time we golfed to make sure we were properly equipped with our rental clubs and trollies and took care of all our golfing needs.
We enjoyed having a drink after golf on the terrace of the clubhouse which is beautiful and the service was very good.
We ate a few nights in the clubhouse restaurant and were very pleased with the food and even more pleased with the timely service.
We luckily were able to have a drink on our last night in the Crocodile Club which was opened just that night because of an event in the clubhouse. We really liked the atmosphere, especially the lounge area that is like a living room and the drawers of the coffee tables have board games to play while having a drink.
My husband is a runner and used the 2 fitness circuits plus found almost unlimited cross country running options.
The Sunday open market at nearby Villaricos was a real Spanish experience not to be missed.
We had an amazing time with sunny weather every day, would recommend Desert Springs and will certainly return ourselves.
