Tournament Format:

 

  • Tournament Round One & Two: Team 4 Ball-Better-Ball Stableford Points. 3/4 Handicap allowance. Best Two stableford points scores from each team combined to achieve team score.
  • Tournament Round Three: Best 2 Individual Stableford scores from each team being combined to achieve the teams total Stableford score. Full Handicap Allowance.

  • Girls - Ladies Tee
  • Boys - Men's Tee

Tournament Round Three:

  • Girls - Ladies Tee
  • Boys with Handicap +3 – 4.4 Championship Tee
  • Boys with Handicap 4.5 – 24 Men's Tee

 

Handicap Conversion:

 

The EGA has an established Handicap Conversion for CONGU players depending on the course slope rating. The Handicap conversions below are applied:

  • Championship Tee – Handicap Conversion +1.1
  • Men's Tee – Handicap Conversion -0.5
  • Ladies Tee – Handicap Conversion +1.4

 

Tournament Conditions:

 

  • Maximum handicap 24
  • Open to boys and girls of all ages
  • Teams are made up of 4 players per team
  • All competitors must be in possession of an official, current handicap certificate, which needs to be presented prior to arrival

 

Prizes:

 

  • The Desert Springs & Millfield European Schools Team Championships Trophy will be awarded to the team with the best Stableford score over the 3 tournament days
  • A trophy will be awarded to the player with the best individual Stableford score on tournament day three
  • A trophy will be awarded to the player with the best Scratch score playing from the Championship Tees on tournament day three.
  • A trophy will be awarded to the player with the best Scratch score playing from the Ladies Tees on tournament day three

BOOKING CONDITIONS

To guarantee your entry a non-refundable deposit of 120€ per person will be payable by October 1st 2021. Entries will be accepted strictly on a first come first served basis.
